About the event
Join the Capuchin Friars on a Franciscan pilgrimage as we contemplate the wonder of God’s creation in our own backyard. In response to Pope Leo’s declaration of a Jubilee Year for St Francis of Assisi, the Capuchin Friars are hosting a pilgrimage for young adults which will meet all the necessary conditions for obtaining a plenary indulgence.
The pilgrimage walk is approximately 10km and will proceed regardless of weather conditions, so please ensure to bring weather appropriate gear. Parking is available at St Anthony’s if you are planning on leaving your car at the destination.
What you can expect from the pilgrimage experience:
– Prayer and reflection
– Encountering God in creation
– Veneration of the relic of Our Seraphic Father St Francis
