About the event
Come and join the Capuchin Friars in Melbourne for the momentous celebration of the 800th anniversary of the death (Transitus) of our Seraphic Father, Saint Francis of Assisi. 800 years ago, in 1226, Saint Francis welcomed Sister Death and passed from this earthly life into heavenly glory. Join us as we mark this great occasion with the ancient Franciscan observance of his Transitus, lead by our Provincial Minister, the Very Rev Fr Robert Stewart OFMCap.
Refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the evening.
